Different types of gem bags designed for children, adults, beginners or rock hounds have received rave reviews and are ALL affordable at the SALTY DOG GEM MINE. The one-of-a-kind TARGET ARCADES for Paintball and Airsoft BBs are fun for the whole family. You shoot at western-themed targets - not each other - so kids & adults can enjoy splattering ghost town targets with paint or testing their accuracy at the BB arcade with the MP-5, AK47, or another precision air-soft BB gun. Every age loves our wagon rides through the park and playing our challenging GOLD RUSH GOLF mini golf course or night glow golf. The Bounce Castle, Mini Truck Track, and Dune Buggy track are great attractions for the younger ones. Free amenities include our shady picnic areas, playground, horse shoes, volleyball and badminton. For those who want a peaceful afternoon, you can take a secluded walk through our inspirational park accented with spiritual themes or hike our nature trails. We have 2 cabins and 1 full service 30/50 amp RV site, a couple of self-contained sites, and tent camping. Within a 45 minute drive, you’ll find rafting, horseback riding, shopping, tubing, golfing, train rides, ziplines, and other activities. Just down the road is the largest BIBLE PARK in the country, Fields of the Wood, where the ten commandments have been constructed on the side of a mountain plus much more. We are less than 15 miles from Lake Hiwassee where they have pontoon boat rentals. We are a great & affordable destination for families, churches, school groups, family reunions and company picnics. Our oldest gem miner to date is 101 years old!
