Text Box: a Trip Advisor review: Two years ago, while on vacation we just happen to stumble upon the Wagonmaster Adventure Ranch by chance. We had a great time mining for rocks and gems. This vacation we decided to make the Wagonmaster Ranch out base of operations for our whole trip. The location provides for a short trip to many other great attractions in three states. We stayed in the Cozy Cabin at the Wagonmaster for 6 nights and had an absolute blast! We played putt-putt golf, shot paint balls at the best (most unique) static target display I've ever seen, more gem mining, and something I've always wanted to try…Gold panning! It was fun and educational Additionally, we enjoyed the wagon ride more than we expected. It’s just plain beautiful in that part of the country. Debbie and Jim, the owners and operators are the BEST!! The facilities are super clean and neat and the property is well maintained. They never let us forget that we were on vacation and extended every effort imaginable to assure we had a fantastic time. They are very knowledgeable of there crafts and Project a relaxed but caring attitude toward all the guests. Shoot! They even told us a couple of secret fishing spots where we actually caught some nice fish. I could go on, but instead I’ll finish by saying, the Wagonmaster Ranch is an absolutely great place for a family vacation, for a day or a week!!! From Mike & Kim Oakley, Tampa, Fl. June, 2012

From Trip Advisor: Brenda H. of McCayesville, Ga. writes: My church family from Zion Hill Baptist Church spent the fall break with our families at this Adventure Ranch and Campground. Though I could only visit during the evening hours due to my work, my husband, grandchildren and myself found it totally amazing as being so close to home but yet so isolated. The children as well as adults had a great time with so many different things to do. There were camping areas for your tent or RV or very nice cabins to rent..whether you’re an adult, small child or in between, there is something for everyone. Saying our host, Jim & Debbie, were more than accommodating is an understatement..we all made friends that will last and never forget...So Jim and Debbie, on behalf of Zion Hill Baptist Church, we thank you for your hospitality and graciousness in this Christian Themed Adventure Ranch. We will definitely be coming back to see you... Fall, 2011

Jady & Karen came in 2010 and came back in 2011 & 2012 to have a joint birthday party for Jaden & Madison or a getaway weekend in the loft cabin. Overnight parties are very popular with the children’s loft as a fun part of the party!

The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and do everything in their power to make for a fun-filled family time. Our church recently held an outdoor picnic at the ranch and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We grilled hot dogs, huddled by the campfire, and played lots and lots of games. Thanks so much for a memorable evening located in the mountains of North Carolina.

Mike & Kim enjoyed the on-site activities: shooting paintball, gold panning, golf, and gem mining during their stay at the cozy cabin. We love this couple and their enthusiasm for life!

My Grandson (15 yrs old) and I stayed in the Loft Cabin for 4 days this past week Very pleased with it! The owners, Jim and Debbie, live on the Ranch and make you feel like family. They're fantastic folks. My Grandson really enjoyed the two different shoot houses and we both got a kick out of the gem mining. The owners have put many years of hard work to make the visitors' experiences very enjoyable and memorable. The surrounding area had beautiful scenery as well as many attractions like the Lost Sea, the Cherohala Skyway, waterfalls, etc. Had an amazing trip that my Grandson and I will remember for a lifetime.
